Chelsea Rosty is the Executive Director of the Montrose Chamber of Commerce as well as the Director of Business Innovation for the City of Montrose. Her weekly article, The Corner of Innovation & Opportunity, appears in the Montrose Daily Press.
Chelsea grew up in Grand Junction, CO. She left Grand Junction to pursue higher education at the University of Wyoming where she achieved a dual Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics. Chelsea took her first professional position in Sidney, Nebraska, at Cabela’s corporate headquarters where she worked as a Marketing Analyst. In 2008, Chelsea found herself back in Western Colorado where she has been pursuing a career in marketing and public service.
Chelsea is a Rotarian, and also sits on the Rotary Board of Directors. She is passionate about Montrose and was part of the KIDS campaign to pass Referendum 3A for the Columbine Middle School Building. She currently sits on the committee developing plans for a future amphitheater in Montrose.
Chelsea loves developing talents in other people and being part of diverse teams. She is also very passionate about business and local economic development. She lives with her husband Phil, along with four dogs and twelve chickens. She enjoys CrossFit, running, reading, and traveling.
